Areas of Support
I offer online counselling and psychotherapy sessions for adults across the UK, supporting people through a range of emotional and life challenges. This page highlights some of the areas and communities I particularly welcome and support within my practice.
Americans Living in the UK
As an American who relocated to Dorset from the Greater Chicago Area, I understand the different challenges that can come from moving to another country and being far from home. I was born and raised in the US and still regularly visit my family there, so I know what it can be like to maintain close connections to home while building a life somewhere new.
I particularly welcome Americans who have relocated to the UK and may be navigating homesickness, cultural adjustment, identity, relationships, or the emotional challenges of building a life away from home. Moving countries and adapting to a new culture, environment, and way of life can bring its own unique challenges, and having space to explore these experiences can be valuable.

LGBTQIA+ Affirming Support
I have a particular interest in providing affirming support to LGBTQIA+ individuals experiencing identity-related stress, minority stress, or the emotional impact of invalidating or unsupportive environments. I offer a space to explore your identity, coming out, relationships, family dynamics, belonging, or other experiences that may be affecting your emotional wellbeing.
As an ally to the LGBTQIA+ community, I believe everyone deserves to feel heard, respected, and accepted for who they are. I value creating a therapeutic environment where you can feel comfortable bringing your whole self into the room, in a space that is non-judgemental and free from the need to hide, explain, or justify who you are. Everyone is welcome here.
